ICT4Water Action Group Inland – Ocean Linkage (IOL)
The scope of this Action Group is to define the gaps and needs about linking digital twins (and digital water considerations in general) of inland water to ocean water, and more specifically to the Digital Twin Ocean platform (DTO) (https://digitaltwinocean.mercator-ocean.eu/). It will also promote linkages between digital water groups and initiatives between the two domains: Ocean/marine/maritime and inland waters
Actions of this Action Group are:
– Define ocean/marine EU projects and actions relevant for linkage with the ICT4WATER cluster.
– Ensuring support from EU agencies-Dialogue and links.
– Linking with the (newly created) KIC-Water (Marine-Maritime-Inland waters).
– Linking with Atmospheric Sciences/models
